Vintage from the 1950s

Listed for sale here is the second bottle from a crate of milk bottles that we scored at an auction - this one is a HOODS Half Pint Milk, or Cream, Bottle.

Little Half Pint is square in shape with a Textured Clear Glass. The word "HOODS" was painted on and was difficult to photograph but can be seen in photos 2 and 3.

This great little bottle has a very slight pink tinge to the glass from impurities at manufacture.

Around the bottom edge are the embossed words - "SEALED", "CONTENTS", and "HALF PINT".

Except for the worn off painted logo this item is in excellent condition! Not bad for a Mid Century Bottle!

Bottle measures approx. - 4 1/2" tall, 1 15/16" top diameter, 2 5/8" square base.
