Large is for adult men and men who may have above-average sized heads. Medium is for teens and adult women, or men with below average sized heads. We don't currently offer a kids size but have considered it, if you're interested in that please let us know.

Custom and personalized orders

We only offer customization for large orders because of the fabrics we use and the standards we have there are only two options to customize for the long haul: dye sublimation and embroidery. Embroidery puts holes in our masks which we are obviously against, and dye sub is a very complex process that we need to do in significant quantity or it is very expensive (think 2x the price right now). That's why we reserve it for larger orders where we can amortize the price over large number of units. We do not do screenprinting as we want you to wash your masks and screenprinting will not live up to the number of washes our masks should last.

Why do you not accept returns?

We are unable to accept returns because each mask is a very personal item. Once you've had it touch your face or opened the packaging it would be unhygienic for us to present it to another customer. However if your mask arrives damaged and it is our fault, don't worry, we'll fix it for you though.

Please wash our masks on medium with detergent and then machine dry on low. You can also hang dry if you prefer. Do not bleach under any circumstances and if there is visible damage it may be time to replace. While our Masks are Made to Last, everything has its lifetime, we just know our masks is significantly longer than those of others.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Neither Austin nor Andrew is very skilled at gift wrapping -- trust me, you wouldn't want us to giftwrap it for you -- it would not look good. We're happy to send it to you first though so you can properly gift wrap it and then send it along to the lucky recipient.

No. These are not certified by any governing body and do not contain the meltblown layers that allow N95 masks to filter out the particles they do. These are comfortable cloth masks made for you to wear in your daily lives and are most definitely not a medical product. Please leave the N95 masks for the front-line workers in hospitals, emergency services, and infrastructure who absolutely need them.

Nope, these are explicitly a non-medical product. They don't prevent, treat, or cure anything. With that said however cities are requiring people to wear masks in places throughout the U.S. and there is some science saying that wearing a cloth face covering like this may be better than not wearing one in preventing particles to get through to your respiratory system.

Do these meet the CDC Guidelines?

The CDC has issued guidelines for the use of cloth face masks by the general public. This does not in any way certify or insinuate a government endorsement but our masks do meet the guidelines they have set forth as our masks have stretchy ear loops, are made of multiple layers, cover the nose and the mouth, and are both machine washable and able to be machine dried. There is no current government certification of masks intended for the general public.

How do I wear a Mask Made to Last?

It's easy. First step, wash your hands with soap and water! Second step, take one of the straps with one hand and place it over one ear. Make sure it is secure and then let go. With the same hand then grab the other side of the mask and place the ear loop over the other ear. Use that hand to adjust the mask to your desired position. You may also do this with two hands if easier, though doing it with one hand may be safer as recommendations are to keep your hands away from your face as much as possible. Make sure it always covers your mouth and your nose. If you have trouble breathing remove immediately. Do not wear one of our masks if you cannot don it and doff it on your own without assistance.

The key things are to always make sure it's tight on the sides of your face and its covers your mouth and your nose.

Our masks meets all of the CDC Guidelines for cloth masks and as they update their guidelines we will continue to refine our masks to meet what our foremost public health experts recommend.

Sizing Guide: Large is for Adult Men and those with larger faces. Medium is for Adult Women, teens, and those with smaller faces. In my house I wear a large (what you see me wearing in the pictures), and my girlfriend wears a medium comfortably.
