About the artist:
Kostenko Anatoly Alexandrovich 03/29/1920 - 02/23/1997 Soviet artist. Member of the Second World War, awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the second degree, medals. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1963. A bright colorist who preferred the landscape genre. His post-impressionist work is easily recognizable. Participant of art exhibitions since 1952. Works are kept in the Dneprovsky Art Museum (Ukraine), Kanevsky Reserve, private collections around the world. The paintings were successfully sold at auctions in Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Russia, Ukraine (for example:

The last exhibition of works on 04/03/2015 at the Museum of Ukrainian Painting on the 95th anniversary of the artist.
