How long will my new purchase take to arrive?

Delivery times from Ireland are Within Ireland 1-2 working days Ireland to UK 2-3 working days Ireland to Europe 2-3 working days Ireland to the USA & the rest of the world 7-10 working days. These times are ONLY estimated and deliveries may take longer during busy periods such as the Christmas season. The post office does not guarantee delivery dates, and it's totally out of my control. I don't guarantee that anything will be received on specific dates. For international orders customs and security checks can sometimes delay the delivery of an item by a few days.

What's your return policy?

I can accept returns unless the item is custom-made or engraved. Please contact me before returning items! If you return something you're responsible for the cost of return shipping, and if the item shipped with "free shipping", the actual cost of the original shipping label won't be refunded. Please contact me before sending things back to see what your actual refund amount would be in those cases.

My package is marked delivered by the post office, but I don't have it! Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, if the post office marks the package as delivered, I have to take that as proof of delivery, and refunds will not be available. It's the customer's responsibility to provide a secure delivery location. If this does happen, check with anyone who may have picked up the package and brought it in. After that, check with neighbors, or look around your house to see if the mail carrier left it in an inconspicuous area. After that, check with the post office in person to get the GPS reading from the delivery scan (for deliveries with a tracking number). In the case of stolen packages, you should file a stolen package report with the police and the post office so that they can track patterns of theft in your area.

Free shipping & Tracking numbers

Some items in my shop are marked as "free shipping" This is achieved by using the lowest cost standard postage rate available by the Irish post office "An Post" for that particular item and does not always include a tracking number. Free shipping means that the cost of postage has been included in the price of the item. A tracking number will only be included if the total amount of postage paid covers the additional cost of a tracking number for that delivery. The Irish post office charges an extra €7 on top of the standard post for a tracking number.

Each soap dish has been handcrafted from a solid piece of teak wood called iroko. This wood comes from sustainable forestry.

Teak, iroko, is an excellent wood for use as a soap dish as it has a natural resistance to water and rot decay due to the natural oils present in the wood.

These soap dishes were designed and handmade in my workshop in West Cork Ireland, they are not a drop ship product.

Water is allowed to drain from the soap dish by wide grooves which have been carefully cut into the wood on the top and the bottom to form lots of drainage holes. The soap dish is then sanded smooth and finished with danish oil. The soap dishes have been designed to allow water to drain freely away allowing your soap to dry better and last longer. Because wood is a natural material each dish has its own unique colour and grain pattern.
