Palace Windows Rope draws its inspiration from windows and doorways commonly found palaces and homes in Northern India. One particular monument, Hawa Mahal aka Palace of the Winds, in Jaipur, is quite stunning with several ornamental windows with hand-carved latticework. This type of architectural decoration was quite common in Indo-Islamic architecture. During the intense heat of the summers, several windows with lattice screens provided plenty of air circulation, privacy and shade from the hot sun.
Palace Windows Rope is a versatile rope which is self-supporting, with plenty of openings designed to imitate breezy windows. It is very flexible and easy to work up.

For this project you will need size 15 seed beads, size 11 seed beads, Miyuki quarter tila beads and 3mm rounds.
Tutorial includes clear instructions in English with digital illustrations.
