However events unfold in relation to COVID-19 (The SARS COV 2 VIRUS), I am committed to ensure continued supply of unique gorgeous vintage pieces to my fantastic customers.
In these difficult and challenging times it is important to still have moments of joy and happiness and the occasional treat of a funky brightly coloured beautiful ready to wear vintage dress delivered to your door beautifully presented in a gift box will bring a smile to your face.
In fact, as not going out becomes the new normal, people are thinking about different and creative ways to keep themselves and their families or house mates entertained..
Why not throw a vintage themed dinner party inviting your friends on Skype or your chosen video conference call platform? Play 1970s Eurovision, get dressed up and fall about laughing. Put that ABBA Gold d.v.d on, turn up the volume, get that funky outfit on and boogie on down, take selfies, share on social media and make others smile. Spread the joy!
Just because you may have to #stayathome does not mean you have to be socially distant from your friends (you may have to be physically distant!) and put "fun" on hold...
As on line shopping takes us through the coming months in a safer way than queuing up in crowded spaces, I am committed to providing a considered and safer route for your shopping experience..

My background (before I did this):
I studied Epidemiology/ Virology / Molecular Genetics and related Bio Sciences at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine followed by studying for a Dphil at Oxford.
This was some time ago (in a previous career) but because of my background, I have been following this right from the outset and been preparing both my household and my business pandemic and continuity plans for some time.
My vintage 'processing" and preparation methods are already extensive and focus on cleanliness. I am one of the few vintage sellers that offers a true "ready to wear" vintage shopping experience.

Since this issue began to unfold in January, I have already put in place additional new measures to support my customers needs and safety.
• I work from home and since the beginning of the developing situation, myself and my partner have significantly reduced our contact with others and high risk public spaces. From the middle of February, my household has been in effective isolation.
• We have had no external visitors to my premises and my household is required to use the hand washing station outside my door before entering.
• I have introduced additional hygiene products in my house and vintage workspace and extra cleaning is taking place to ensure the best possible cleanliness standards for your vintage purchases.
• In addition to my extensive washing and cleaning processes and usual quarantine and fumigation process for any new vintage items that I purchase, since the middle of February, I have operated contact free delivery for my inbound post. Any new parcels that I receive are placed in a sealed plastic box, fumigated with anti viral spray and left for 48 hours before entering my normal "production" process.
• Before handling each vintage piece I wash my hands thoroughly with hot water and medical grade soap. This is done at every stage of my processing all the way through to wrapping and packing and preparing your beautiful vintage item and package.
• My vintage workspace area is separate from the rest of my household space.
ORDER PROCESSING AND POSTAGE:
• I aim to get the orders prepared, processed and passed to the postal/delivery providers within my usual timescales.
However, some postal and delivery carriers may be experiencing delays. due to unexpected flight cancellations, sudden border closures or staff resource issues. Sadly, this is outside of my control and ask that you have extra patience at this time, and many sellers in our Etsy community are facing disruptions in their usual routines that may cause some unpredictability when it comes to fulfilling orders.
It’s the kindness and support that we give to each other that will help us get through these unprecedented times.
