I originally purchased this antique quilted bolero from another vendor on Etsy, but sadly it’s 1 size too small for me. Here’s the vendors information and listing description:
“Vintage 1920s Quilted Silk structured Bolero Jacket which has been hand painted altering the tone of the original blue silk fabric. Stunningly Unique.
This fabulously divine creation was made by hand, although a treadle machine has been used for the main seams. The silk is without any damage.
It was purchased in China in 1928 and then stored within a private collection from 1943. It was purchased in March and was dry cleaned before the professional artist carried out their visual work which mirrors the decadence and the suffering of the 1920s. It is absolutely beautiful, the affect of the dyeing process on the fabric is stunning. The hand painting is exquisitely applied and compliments the quilted pattern perfectly.”

Mannequin has 14” shoulder and 34” bust (I wouldn’t recommend larger for this piece). Fits like XS. Please check measurements. Measurements taken from exterior of garment so please allow for extra room with quilted thickness.
Laying flat:
Shoulders seam to seam:14.5”-15”
Sleeve:10.5”-11”
armpit cycle:9.75”/19.5”
across sleeve width:6.5”-6.75” across
pit to pit:17.5”-18”
across empire waist:15.5” across
across bottom hem edge:14.25” across
length:15.5” from mid shoulder
back center length:16”-16.5”
Pit to hem:7.5”
Please note this piece does have a light vinegar type odor probably from setting the dyes in the silk. The odor could probably be rinsed out with a cold bath and mild silk-safe soap.
