This hand spun yarn was spun from a blend of 50% merino wool and 50% silk. It is natural color, a soft creamy ivory.

This roving had silk blended into it. The silk gives it a textured feel with the excellent memory of merino wool. What a pleasure this would be to knit a bridal shawl or any other special garment.

This is a 2 ply yarn at approximately 1400 yards per pound. A DK weight yarn.

Merino wool is a next to the skin soft wool. The silk gives the yarn a beautiful drape.
