A set of 16 pages taken from "A Field Guide in Colour to Wild Flowers by Dietmar Aichele. Gorgeous color illustrations of field and wild flowers with a description of the flowers on the opposing page.
Double pages consists of -- The pages whole as they came out of the book (that is 2 leaves/pages attached as they had been sewn into the book). I separated them from the book and put them into 11 piles to spread out the different color sections so that you get a variety of colors of flowers in each pack. You will receive one random pack witch will have 16 pages of illustrations.
Single pages -- is the same kinds of pages from the book as "Double pages"( read above) except that the book was bound with glue, instead of double pages being sewn into signatures and bound together. This means the single pages were stacked together in order and one edge of the stack of pages was coated with glue to hold the pages in place. So they never were connected in the center. One side of the page may still have glue on it. That is the only difference between these 2 sets. You will receive 16 random assorted single pages when you buy set 2.
Printed in 1978
Each page measures 5 3/4" x 8"

Originally published in 1973, although it is based on 25 years of work leading to an earlier book by three German botanists. The author of this revision, Dietmar Aichele, has therefore mostly compiled this book from work by the amateur Alois Koch. The illustrations which are such an indispensable part of the work are by Marianne Golte-Bechtle.
