This is a handmade, blank journal featuring a collaged cover of black and white commercial batiks, silks, ribbons and trims. A hook and eye closure and ribbon tie hold the journal securely closed. A handy pocket inside the front cover is great for notes, photos, memorabilia, ephemera and pens.

Two hand-sewn signatures of twenty pages each contain Strathmore 80 lb. drawing paper and hand-dyed watercolor paper. I cut the pages in varying sizes for extra interest and decorated them with cut and punched edging. The binding is finished off with dangling glass beads for an added touch of whimsy.
