A simple visual to place next to your child's bedroom door. Keeping a bedroom clean is hard work, but when a little effort is put in each time you leave that room, it prevents devoting hours to this task on a weekend. Plus, playing in a clean room helps to decrease anxiety and gives children a blank canvas to grow those imaginative muscles! Help your children gain independence and confidence by walking them through these 4 quick "Stop and Check" steps. Remember it's about progress, not perfection!

Practice creates habits, and healthy habits create responsible children :-) Give it a try for a couple of weeks!

Print, cut, and implement immediately. Laminate for added durability.

This product was designed by a pediatric occupational therapist using Boardmaker software. As a therapist, Boardmaker is my favorite tool for creating visual supports. The images are simple and effective. Children don't get lost in unnecessary details or overwhelmed by colors. The simplicity of their designs leads to more effective processing and better outcomes.

Fast download and I love the color options. I plan to put in my daughter's room as a checklist on her way out her room for school. She's always making a mess in her room before school.
