What is Titanium and Niobium?

These two metals are both nickel free, hypoallergenic, totally inert, non-reactive metals. Both Titanium and Niobium are advised to be used when you have metal allergies and your skin reacts to nickel, copper, brass, silver, gold, platinum and surgical stainless steel. The Titanium I use is Grade-1 which is commonly used in surgical implants in the body. It is very lightweight, but as strong as steel. The Niobium is a pure metal, not an alloy (=mixed with other metals). Niobium is 20% lighter then sterling silver. Both metals are silvery grey and don’t tarnish. Niobium can be anodized to a yellow gold color, this process doesn't involve actual gold as a metal and so these earrings are great even when you are allergic to gold.

Is It Packed in a Gift Box and ready to give?

These earrings are super-cute. Of all the ones I've bought from Marjon, I wear these the least, only because they are so small that they are quite inconspicuous. I think they would work better for someone who's hair wasn't as thick and frizzy as mine, where they could shine more - maybe short hair, or hair that slicks back without too much frizz escaping it.
