Highlights
This lovely modern planter is designed especially for orchids. It is made of white stoneware clay and fired to a very high temperature in the kiln. After the clay is thrown on the potter's wheel, it is set aside to dry a little before the bottom is trimmed and holes are added for root air circulation. After the first firing, a coat of clear glaze in added inside and out and the pot is fired again to a very high temperature.
This handmade orchid planter measures 6 inches at the top diameter x 4.50 inches in height. The air holes measure 1/2 inch in diameter. I have signed the bottom.
The shiny off white glaze on this planter is perfect for contemporary interiors and will make a wonderful gift for orchid growers or collectors. The plant tray is included.
