Perfect for creating DIY face mask nose guard. Easy to bend yet holds it's shape. I recommend wire cutters or metal shears to cut your preferred length. (see link below if you need these). Cutting it yourself lets you create your own lengths as needed for your design.

::: 1/4" x 24 GAUGE DEAD SOFT FLAT COPPER
**I am recommending 1/8 or 3/16" for nose wires. The 1/4" is a just a bit stiffer because of its width. While it will still work - this is my suggestion.
1/4" makes great components for jewelry! Great for patina and crafting. It is not stiff enough for cuffs.

::: 1/2" x 24 GAUGE DEAD SOFT FLAT COPPER
2, 5 or 10 foot coils - perfect for cutting into smaller pieces for earring & necklace charms, riveting on to heavier metal or leather cuffs. Takes patina well & enameling. Too soft for a bracelet cuff.


This flat wire is solid copper, it won't rust. As long as you don't make severe folds/creases repeatedly, it should hold up well to washing etc without breaking. Copper may tarnish over time.

THOUGHTS:::
**I'm seeing both the 1/8" and the 3/16" flat wire in different face mask designs. They work about the same, I guess it just depends on how much width you have to work with when inserting inside the fabric. If you order one size and want a sample of the other, please don't hesitate to send me a message. (see how they are used in my picture above).

If cutting your own,
- Try filing the corners with a heavy nail file or metal file to soften the pointy edge
-One other way to make the ends softer is to use a needle nose plier & roll over the ends just a few millimeters.
