What size should I choose?

While the weight of your pet is helpful in determining your Hop n' Flop® size, it's just as important to know your pet's unique preferences. Do they like to be squished between things? Or do they prefer to have a little more space to stretch and flop fully on their side? For example, our 7 lbs (3.17 kg) girl Delilah actually prefers her SNUG size Hop n' Flop® which she fits very snuggly in but that's because she's a snuggle bug! If your pet is close to the weight cut-off for a size (i.e. 7 lbs), size up. You can always add a pad over the Hop n' Flop® which will make the middle a little more snug. However, if your pet has head-tilt, arthritis, etc. size down for more support.

100% MACHINE WASHABLE! For Classic Style beds, simply toss the whole bed in the wash. For Deluxe Style beds, remove pillows and machine wash the cover on cold. We recommend using unscented organic detergent if possible. Rabbits have extremely sensitive scent receptors and strong fragrances can deter them from using their Hop n' Flop. Do not use dryer sheets (toxic) or fabric softener (it can permanently damage waterproof membranes). Tumble dry low or lay flat/hang to dry.

Custom and personalized orders

Did you find a fabric that you fell in love with and want to see it transformed into a Hop n' Flop®? On our home page, you'll find a button on the left side that says "REQUEST CUSTOM ORDER". After clicking, you'll find a window that allows you to submit custom requests!

What is the best "chew-proof" fabric?

We've yet to be able to find a fabric that is chew proof for bunnies. :) But we have found that bunnies tend to chew less on Sherpa. The Cotton Canvas fabric is a little bit more durable than the Cotton fabric options. We sew in a fabric under the top fabric layer that is meant to help prevent tears from getting bigger. We've also noticed that bunnies tend to chew a little bit at first almost as if to "mark their territory" but then they stop chewing. For Classic Style beds, you can order an Oops Loop that is designed to help protect the bed from chewing. For Deluxe Style beds, the covers are replaceable. You can also put a towel or blanket over the bed to protect it but be careful that this doesn't deter them from using the bed.

Order was rushed incredibly fast -- got the beautiful bed and replacement cover in time for a road trip for my bun to get medical treatment out-of-state. She was definitely more comfortable on the trip. Deeply appreciated!

Bigwig enjoys moving his Hop and Flop around. He hasn’t quite figured out that lying in it is comfy. But then he’s a busy busy bunny! The quality is stellar, the canvas material thick and soft as expected. The sides remove super easily and slip in just as well. I love the Hop & Flop even if Bigwig hasn’t figured it out! Ha! And the owner rushed my order which was just so helpful! I want all the things for the Hop & Flop! If I get another bunny, we will buy again!
