Simple, yet wonderful!
By definition, an AMULET Is an ornament or piece of jewelry thought to give protection against evil, danger or disease.
One would hope that was true.
In the case of the particular amulet on this lovely bracelet, perhaps it will discourage any harm that might come our way.
The amulet is gorgeously done in a matte black.
It measures 1 1/2" high and is 1" wide. It is thick at a tad over 1/8."
The SITTING BUDDHA depicted was hand carved, not stamped, and the black within it is scored and etched, revealing a few sneak peeks at the brass inside. The Buddha is 3D, so he stands out prominently.
The back (see photos) has a symbol and writing which I do not understand but should absolutely be about "protection."
This lovely piece was made in THAILAND.
The black link bracelet is made of black ROLO CHAIN and is quite impressive. This lovely piece closes with a textured black oval magnetic clasp.
The entire bracelet measures 7 1/4." It is reasonably lightweight and has a marvelous drape and feel on the wrist.
I find it most beautiful indeed.
