These bread pots are individually crafted by hand with care on my pottery wheel and designed to make delicious bread easily.

The Bread Pot has high walls so it is perfect for dough with high hydration, instead of being flat and spreading outwards the dough has nowhere to go but upwards and rises nicely to make a nice high loaf perfect for slicing for sandwiches.

Great for all types of bread recipes, Sourdough, Cinnamon Raisin, Cheesy Pesto, Sun-dried Tomato, Rye Bread.
Endless possibilities.

The clay used to make the pots is specifically designed to handle thermal shock and can be heated to a higher temperature in an oven than normal clay. 500°F (260°C) is fine for sour dough.

The glaze is lead free, food safe and easy to clean.

Wash the pot and lid as you would normal dishes.

After a few uses The Bread Pot will build up a natural non stick patina.

For the first few bakes it is recommend to give a light coating of vegetable oil and a sprinkle of flour.

You can use the pot for the final rise of the dough and place in a cold oven or heat the pot up and drop the bread dough into the hot pot when it is ready to bake.

Beautiful handmade piece of functional hand made art to be the highlight of any kitchen, with it's natural shape and earthy tones it looks perfect sitting on the counter top waiting for it's next bake.
