Contents: 99.6% Pure technical grade Sodium Carbonate Light Fine Powder

Soda Ash is perfect as a fixer for when using reactive dyes to dye cellulosic materials. It is also essential for scouring/washing plant fibres prior to dyeing. Soda Ash can also be used as a dye modifier after dyeing with natural dyes as it creates an alkaline pH.

Soda Ash is also used to create alkaline environments when using Indigo VAT dyes.


WARNING: May be harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Causes irritation to the eyes.
Avoid contact with eyes. Wear eye protection when handling. Do not ingest or inhale. If in contact with eyes occurs flush with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses if worn and continue rinsing. If swallowed, give water or milk. Seek medical assistance immediately if in contact with eyes, inhaled or ingested.
