This "Stratus" desk contrasts naturally darkened flame torched heartwood with deeper tones of stained redwood. Our table tops are finished with a house blend of mineral spirits and low sheen polyurethane to give them a natural looking protective coat thats easy to clean and maintain.

Every table is hand built reflecting our "Stratus" design but each has its own unique variation due to woodgrain, color, etc making it truly one of a kind. We are always happy to work with our customers to bring out attributes they want highlighted in their final product.

We have options for 29" desk height legs or 15" coffee table height legs. All leg options are shipped separately, and are easily mounted in minutes to the pre-drilled holes in the tabletop with only a screwdriver. These American made steel legs from Philly Fabrication are the best quality we have found and we're happy to be partnered with them to give you the best possible product that's 100% handmade in the USA. We gather our reclaimed wood locally from Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. It varies from outdoor fencing to internal construction materials from old homes and churches. We log the history of all of our wood to preserve the story behind it so if you have a question about where the wood from one of our products came from, feel free to message us and ask!

Our redwood lumber is sourced from growers approved by the Forest Stewardship Council who make sure that the redwoods are harvested in accordance with some of the highest environmental standards in the world.

For the convenience of our clients we are partnered with Philly Fabrication to offer American Made, custom sized hairpin legs with all of our tables.

If you would like a different style leg, we can work with you to find the shape and size you're looking for, and give you the info needed to install it on one of our tables.

Our tabletops can accommodate most leg styles and have been used on standing desks, bar tops along with wood and steel legs of all shapes and sizes.

As a small business I am unable to manage returns and exchanges for customers that change their mind. However, if there is something wrong with your table, I am absolutely going to make it right. I can't promise that there will never be problems with any order, but I can promise that I'll do everything I can to resolve any issues and make sure you are happy with the end result. I had such a great experience with CarvedCoast. Miles so was fast to respond to my questions— he even allowed me to keep a certain design in different dimensions. Miles was very transparent about shipping times, and although it took a while to ship, he was transparent about how long it would take. The hairpin legs arrived about a week before the desk itself and we’re incredibly easy to install. The quality of my new desk is stunning... the craftsmanship is beautiful and I’m excited to have a unique piece that is both durable and eye-catching! :)
