African Basket Deer Effigy Hand Woven With Native Materials

Here is a gorgeous African basket approx era 1980's. Not certain as to the maker but fairly sure it is Zulu. The motif is of deer and a triangle formation. It is a large piece with a 16" diameter and nearly 7" tall. It has a slight tilt to one side which is typical for such a large piece. The basket is nearly mint, one very small area of wear near the base, you just don't find them in this great of condition.
Basket acquired from an estate sale. I originally believed this to be a Native American basket but am sure now it is not.
