Personalized Orders with Embossing

All of my items can be embossed for up to 15 characters like shown in the photos. If you need more than 15 characters, you must add the Additional Embossing listing located in the "More Customizations" section. Due to variety in sizes & designs, formatting and location of embossing will be left up to myself, the maker/designer, UNLESS detailed formatting/location preferences are specified by the customer. I am not currently offering embossing mock up. The font I use is in the listing photos, (Times Roman and all caps), and location and formatting details are in each listing. If the Personalization Box is left blank, and no personalization is indicated in the Order Notes, your item WILL NOT BE EMBOSSED.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I offer gift wrapping on all items for $5. It will be wrapped in brown kraft paper and then wrapped in twine or thread. On the checkout screen, check the box "This is a Gift" and select the gift wrapping option.

All sizes refer to the leather journal cover. Pages sit within 1/4 of an inch from the cover on all sides.

When will my order arrive?

Please see shop announcements and “Shipping” section of listings for most current production timeframes. In order to get your order by the date you would like, you must look at the time it takes me to produce each item, and then factor in the timing of the shipping speed you choose. Please message me if you have any questions. Also, SEE HOLIDAY ORDERS in the FAQ for questions about holiday order deadlines.

I do not offer returns on custom orders or personalized orders. I do offer returns for any other item purchased from the shop. If your item is not a custom order and was not personalized, and you would like to return it, you are responsible for return shipping costs; unless the reason is an error on the part of Hank Belle Journal Co. If there is an error in your order, I will provide your return shipping. I do NOT offer returns for the reason of your order not arriving by the date expected. Once your package is in the hands of the postal carrier, I do not have control over when it is delivered.

At certain times throughout the year, I offer the service of fully custom orders. Please message me to inquire about availability of custom orders. Many customizing features are already located in my shop in the MORE CUSTOMIZATIONS section. Please browse that section prior to inquiring about custom orders to see if your request is already offered in my shop as a listing. Custom orders are not able to be refunded or exchanged for any reason.

Can I add extra pages?

YES! If you need additional pages, you can add the "Additional Pages" listing to your order, which is located in the "More Customizations" section of my shop. Details and how to order are in the listing description there.

PERSONALIZATION
Personalization on this journal is done via the heat embossing method. We use an old-fashioned style of personalizing your leather, called Embossing. Heat is pressed into your journal cover, leaving a gorgeous and rustic looking imprint that is permanent.
This includes 15 characters of Embossing.
For any additional inscriptions on the journal, additional embossing or engraving is available in the Customizations tab.
The embossing method includes alpha-numeric and special characters, is imprinted in Times Roman, and characters are 6mm (1/4") tall.
Special characters available include: (. ' , # @ ? ! " $ % &; * : ; / \)

FULL-GRAIN AMERICAN LEATHER
Our leathers are USA tanned, premium full-grain cowhides chosen for their rustic yet beautiful character.
Due to the nature of the authentic leather hides, there will always be variation and uniqueness from one journal to the next.
Each hide will have some degree of "pull-up," which refers to color variation where the leather is creased or bent; which gives the rustic and distressed appearance. Pull-up creases go away with rubbing the leather with a cloth or by hand.

The quality of this item is excellent. It matched what was shown and described; looked like the picture. It went above my expectations and I’m very pleased with my purchase. If you do get it personalized, then patience is required. It’s handmade so takes longer with shipping but definitely well worth the wait. I would highly recommend this and would order again.

What a beautiful product! It was so hard finding a gift for our beloved music teacher, as we wanted both the music staff portion and regular notebook paper for writing lyrics/notes. So this was exactly what we wanted with both, lovely engraving, high quality leather. Absolutely beautiful!
