14Kt Edwardian lavaliere with seed pearls and Amethyst signed Birks. SKU-721

A lovely Y shaped necklace from the Edwardian period. Also known as a lavaliere, the dainty design incorporates a cross within a circle. The 4 points of the cross is set with a tiny pearl. At the centre of the cross is a bezel-set round faceted Amethyst. A double circle frames the cross, with 8 equal distant seed pearls. There are 3 more seed pearls in the Y from which the pendant is suspended. A thin Bolo chain with a spring ring clasp secures the lavaliere to the neck.
