How to apply and care for iron-on patches

Place the patch adhesive side down on the garment. Set the iron to high/cotton. Use dry heat only — no steam. Cover with a thin cotton cloth or tea towel. It may be slightly damp, but not wet. Do not spray water onto the adhesive side. Press firmly for 20–30 seconds without moving the iron. For large patches, repeat on each area. Let cool, then check the edges. If needed, cover and press again. Turn the garment inside out and iron the back side for another 20–30 seconds. Let cool before wearing or washing. For best durability, sew the edges after ironing. Best for cotton, denim, canvas, and sturdy fabrics. Avoid leather, satin, nylon, waterproof, or very stretchy fabrics. Wash inside out, gentle cold cycle. Do not bleach.
