Opelon 0.7mm White Stretch Jewelry Cord, 25 meter Spool

Opelon is a flat fibrous cord that has surprising stretch and resiliency. Unbelievable strong, easily knot-able and doesn't require crimps! Opelon's flat structure gives it greater flexibility than other stretch cord options and will not "Droop" over time. Latex Free.

Many of my customers love the ease of stretchy bracelets. Clasps can become difficult to maneuver due to arthritis and dexterity issues but we still want to wear our jewelry don't we? I have personally used Opelon for over 10 years in new and repair projects and in kids jewelry classes. It's flat profile knots beautifully and I recommend a dab of Superglue or even clear nail polish on the knot. Other brands like Stretch Magic are round and don't knot well. I use it doubled with a Big Eye Needle to pick up and string beads; if one strand breaks you have a backup. Please see our listing for Big Eye Needles. Start or stop your stringing with a bead that has a large hole to hide the knot. With gentle use your bracelet should last a long while. I would not use on expensive or irreplaceable/sentimental beads but for costume jewelry it is my go-to for stretchy cord.

You will receive one - 25 meter/82' spool of .7mm white cord. Don't forget to click twice on any picture for an enlarged image.
