A crisp blue sky is filled with soft cumulous clouds. 3 pairs of blue jeans hang from a clothesline where they float ever so slightly on the breeze. 2 eastern bluebirds (one male, one female), are perched atop the clothesline pole. And all this is grounded by a field of blue tulips. It’s a whimsical illustration. It’s got easy country charm and bright clear colors: cerulean blue, denim blue, cobalt blue,sage green, and soft gray-white.

This is a print of my original illustration. The illustration was assembled digitally from scans of my drawings, my paintings, and my photographs. Since the “original” image is digital, the only physical form in which it exists is as a print.

The image size is 8 inches by 10 inches, which is printed on an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of bristol. Bristol is an archival quality acid free artist’s material. It has a smooth matte surface and is similar in thickness to a piece of card stock. Bristol is one of my favorite drawing surfaces. This print was printed in-house on an Epson printer. Epson ink is water resistant, fade resistant, and acid-free. This is an open edition print that is signed (Sarah Knight) in black ink in the lower right-hand corner. The image that appears in this listing does not display a signature. Each print is signed individually.
