Gourmet Apple Cider Simple Syrup

This simple syrup is made from fresh apple cider pressed from our heirloom apples grown in our farm orchard. The cider is heated with the sugars and spiced added. Please shake before use to disperse the spices and refrigerate after opening. This is a simple syrup made with the intention of it being used to add to your hot or iced tea and coffee, lemonade, sparkling water, yogurt, your favorite cocktail or drizzled over desserts and pancakes.

For the apple lover in your life, pair this simple syrup with my apple butter, apple spiced syrup, applesauce, or apple jelly for the ultimate apple present!

Made one small batch at a time to ensure consistency and high - quality products.

Cocktail suggestions:

Bourbon Cider Smash:
2 oz bourbon
1-2 oz Apple Cider Simple Syrup (depending on desire of sweetness)
1/2 oz Thyme Simple Syrup

In a cocktail shaker half full of ice, add all ingredients and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Pour into a lowball glass, Garnish with a sprig of thyme. Enjoy

Apple Cider Manhattan:

2 oz whiskey
1/2 oz vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 oz Apple Cider Simple Syrup

In a cocktail shaker half full of ice, add all ingredients and shake vigorously foe 10-15 seconds. Stain and pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry or a slice of apple.

Apple Cider Mojito:

Orange zest
6 mint leaves
2 oz light rum
1 oz orange juice
1 oz Apple Cider Simple Syrup
1/4 cup chopped apple

In a cocktail shaker muddle orange zest and mint leaves and half full of ice. Add all remaining ingredients except apple and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds. Place apples into a Collins glass and pour shaker contents on top of the apples. Enjoy
