Heavy Duty wall Mount Bookshelf Brackets handmade in USA. By integrating an additional metal detail on the shelf brackets, we created a beautiful bookend that is architectural and functional. Not only does it increase the strength of the brackets, it prevents your books and items from falling off. This will maximize your storage on your floating shelves, as you will not require separate bookends.
Our custom wall shelving is our most notable design as well as one of our best sellers.
This listing is only for 2 STEEL BOOKEND BRACKETS. The bookend brackets can ONLY be used at either end of a shelving unit. Therefore, they are SOLD IN SETS OF 2. (One bracket EACH for right and left end)
Recommended Shelf Bracket Spacing: Bracket placed every 16"- 32". The more brackets you use, the higher the weight capacity the shelves will have.
For shelf distances OVER 36", we recommend purchasing CENTER BRACKETS. We sell the center brackets (WITHOUT the bookend) on a separate listing. We did this because many people need an odd number of brackets. This allows you to choose the perfect number of brackets for your project.

Brackets:
Completely designed and built in the USA with materials guaranteed to last a lifetime. The shelf brackets are powder coated and custom fabricated from 1.5" wide American steel channel. We proudly use American steel and support American manufacturing. American steel is consistent, stronger, environmentally friendly, and ethically produced, unlike Chinese steel (leading competitor). The solid steel shelf bracket mounts to the wall 2 locations, hidden behind each shelf. The shelves are connected to the brackets with two screws on each rung. This displaces the weight evenly throughout the bracket, making for an extremely sturdy design that is easy to install.
SHELF DEPTH:
Shelf supports are 8" long. We recommend using shelves 8.5"-12" Wide.
Bracket Powder Coat Finishes:
Powder coating is a dry finishing process. The coating is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat to produce long molecular chains. These molecular chains are very resistant to breakdown. Therefore, powder-coated products are more resistant to scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues. This method is more sustainable than conventional paint because it takes place in a sealed environment. The unused powder is collected and reused. Leaving little to no air pollution and waste… It’s tougher, last longer, and is environmentally advantageous.
We offer three different Powder Coat finishes options for the brackets:
• Clearcoat on steel
• Black
• *Gold/bronze
*GOLD/BRONZE Brackets have an ADDITIONAL FEE because the gold / bronze powder coating requires more coats of finish to achieve the proper results.

INSTALLATION: We have designed the brackets for easy installation. I email step by step instructions complete with pictures.
WEIGHT CAPACITY: The solid steel shelf bracket mounts to the wall several locations, hidden behind each shelf. (For example, a 5 shelf bracket will mount to the wall in 5 locations) This displaces the weight evenly throughout the bracket, making for an extremely sturdy design that is easy to install. We typically recommend placing a bracket every 16"-32" of shelf distance. The number of brackets you use for your project will depend on the overall length of the shelves and the amount of weight you'd like them to bear (more brackets = higher weight capacity) For heavy duty shelving, such as a fully loaded bookshelf, we recommend placing brackets 24" apart or less. When spaced ≤ 24", the brackets can support 50lb per linear foot of shelving.*
If you need help figuring out how many brackets are necessary for your project, please contact us and we will make a recommendation with a custom rendering for you.
*How the brackets are mounted to the wall directly impacts the load capacity. Different wall constructions require different kinds of mounting anchors. For this reason, we DO NOT include wall mounting anchors. We provide a detailed outline of our recommended wall anchors for the different constructions within the installation manual. The shelves attached to the brackets in 2 locations on each shelf rung. We DO provide 3/4" wood screws to attach the wood shelves to the brackets. Please message us if you would like to see the installation manual prior to ordering or if you have any other questions. We have installed this shelving hundreds of times on just about every kind of construction and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
