This helmet we created is based on the various references of Late Medieval (14-15th). The main advantage of it - is complete defense from all angles and convenience in usage. Creating a steel full-contact fight suitable helmet our main goal is to increase the level of protection as much as possible.

The opening visor can be lifted between the combats for air and water drinking, and it stays lifted without holding. The soft padding inside is amortized hits well and two leather belts hold the helm reliably on the head. Strong, hardened plates are hidden between the aventail and padding to protect your neck and shoulders.

Materials: hardened high carbon steel + Woolen quilted aventail with festoons and blazons + padded fabric gambeson, hardened 1mm high carbon steel plates hidden under the collar;
The thickness of the top: 2,5 mm; visor: 1,5 mm (hardened high carbon steel);
Weight: approximately 5-6 kilos;

Every knight in the Middle Ages was supposed to have his own blazon, and the coat-of-arms decoration on the clothes and armor was extremely popular at that time.

Each decorative blazon is authentically hand-painted by our painter. Usually, it's 4 pictures on one aventail (as you can see in a picture) but we can add a few extra for 20$ each.

When ordering, please indicate the head measurements as in the picture and attach the image of your coat of arms.
