Microfiche is one of my favourite mixed media supplies. There are sooooooo many things you can do with it.
In an altered book cut a window through 2 pages and insert some microfiche between them -- Cut it down to ATC size, then layer it over an image -- Sew 2 pieces together for a funky envelope -- Put a few of the small squares between glass, solder the sides and make a pendant -- Lay it on a cradle board along with some vintage papers and dabs of acrylic paint, then pour wax over it -- Cut squares and triangles so you can create little houses in a collage -- Punch a hole in the corner, put a sticky label on the front and use it as a gift card -- Insert eyelets in the corners, hook them together with jump rings, then attach them to a lampshade frame. Tres cool!
I could go on and on (and have been known to), but you get the idea. This stuff is FUN!

More ideas for you:
Make a lamp. These instructions use old film, but the idea can easily be adapted for microfiche or microfilm.

Don't know what the heck is microfiche? Well, you'd have to be 'of a certain age' to be truly familiar with it, but it's still in use in some libraries and universities. Here's some info for you:
mi·cro·fiche noun \ˈmī-krō-ˌfēsh
: a sheet of film that has very small photographs of the pages of a newspaper, magazine, etc., which are viewed by using a special machine

PLEASE BE AWARE:
Etsy has now begun to charge sellers when a customer finds their shop via another site or search engine (Google, Bing, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.). We are forced to pay them 12-15% of the total order (including taxes and shipping!) on top of all the other Etsy fees. As well, any orders entered by you over the following 30 days will also garner this charge. It would be greatly appreciated if, when you come across an ad or listing via any site other than Etsy itself, you do not click on it. Instead, if you would go to Etsy.com and search for the item or simply cut-and-paste the title into the Etsy search bar and find the item that way, you would be doing all the small businesses on Etsy a great favour. Thank you so much.

Why not add RubyDog's to your list of Favourites while you're here? It's so easy to get lost on Etsy and this way you can find us, again.
