HandmadeCopper Mezuzah with Contemporary Tree of Life
Description
Handmade mezuzah case with stylized Tree of Life, by Ruth Shapiro. Each leaf is individually made using fold forming, filing and torch patina, and is then hand riveted to the brushed nickel background which is in turn attached to the patinaed copper box with tiny nuts and bolts. The shin is hand-pierced from brass sheet and high polished like a tiny jewel! Highly labor intensive! Lacquered to discourage tarnish. This mezuza is 3-3/4" tall, not including the loops, 1" wide, and 1/2" deep.
This mezuzah case makes a wonderful wedding, graduation, house-warming or bar/bat mitzvah gift. How about one for yourself?
This mezuzah does not come with a Kosher scroll. Convo me if you wish to purchase one at additional cost. A free, printed prayer will be included if you like.
