Return Air Vent Covers: - Measure the outermost dimensions you need the cover to be. Typically, 2" larger than the wall / ceiling opening is the size you should order. For instance, 10" x 14" opening should need a vent that is 12" x 16". We do make custom sizes, just message us for details! Do you accept returns, exchanges or alterations after delivery?

Return Air Vent Covers: We do offer returns / exchanges on our vent covers. There is a 25% restocking fee and return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. All other items: Due to the custom nature of our items we do not accept returns, exchanges, or requests for alterations after delivery. We ask that you communicate any specific requests through our message conversation during the order process. We only know about a preference or request if you specify it in your message. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests!

Do you send mock ups and finished photos before you ship items?

Mock ups / Proofs: For all personalized and custom items, we send a mock up for your approval. Custom Names and Phrases: We will start with font choices, then once you choose a font, we send a final mock up with dimensions for your approval. If we do not hear back from you within 1 week, we will make the item and ship it. If a font still hasn't been picked, we will cancel the order. Finished Photos: Due to the high volume of orders that we create and ship, we are unable to send photos prior to shipping. We also share sneak peeks of orders on our Instagram @heartwood_house

Are the metal items suitable for outdoors?

All outdoor themed signs, vent covers, and signs for areas that would be in a high moisture area (such as bathrooms) will be primed front and back. Then, two coats of metal safe paint will be applied to the front of the sign. If raw metal or clear coat is ordered, there will not be any protective primer on the sign / word.
