What is your refund policy?

Due to the unique nature of digital products Modern Stock Photography does not provide any refunds for products purchased. Once a purchase is completed the customer is provided a direct link to the digital files for download. Modern Stock has no way to track if that product was actually downloaded and therefore cannot confirm if a digital product was received and use by the customer. Digital products do not represent a physical item and therefore cannot be “returned”. Due to this no refunds are expressed or implied. All purchases are considered final.

What are the restrictions on using purchased images?

– An use outside the allowed use provided by the license type purchased for the image. – Use of an image in the portrayal of anything that is deemed illegal, is a violation of an individual or group’s civil rights, could be construed as offensive to any individual person, is pornographic in nature or connected to the “adult” film or entertainment industry, used as an endorsement of any political figure, policy, advertisement, or promotion, or is immoral. – Modification or editing of images outside the usage guideline of the license purchased. – Resell, redistribute, or portray as one’s own work in mass with or without modification as a stand-alone product. – Use of images in a manner that infringes on a trademark or copyright of another.

What does a Standard license allow use for?

For Individual or Small Batch Use - For Personal or Single Business Use - Perpetual and Worldwide Use Were Allowed By Law - Modification in the Form of Resizing, Cropping, and Minimal Color Matching - Supplemental to Finished Digital Products for Clients and for Marketing on Websites, Social Media, and Digital and Print Marketing Platforms with less than 100 copies reproduced - Incorporated into Print, Merchandise, Film, Television, Marketing and Advertising Campaigns with a Budget Less Than $10,000 USD.

What does a Commercial license allow use for?

For Commercial Marketing and Advertising, Large Batch Use - For Corporate and Commercial Marketing and Advertising Use - Perpetual and Worldwide Use Were Allowed By Law - Modification in the Form of Resizing, Cropping, and Minimal Color Matching - Supplemental to Finished Digital Products for Clients and for Marketing on Websites, Social Media, and Digital and Print Marketing Platforms with unlimited copies reproduced - Incorporated into Print, Merchandise, Film, Television, Marketing and Advertising Campaigns with an Unlimited Budget.
