The burlap that I use should fray VERY little. I try to answer questions in each item description so for specifics, please see the description for the item you are wanting. I use a higher quality of burlap than most other shops. As long as after you use your decoration you fold it up as the way I sent it to you and store it in a climate controlled environment out of the direct sunlight, your item will last for years to come!

If stored in a climate controlled environment out of direct sunlight, it will last for many, many years to come.
