The pieced background has 'Lady Liberty" fused on as raw edge applique. This part was then quilted in a vertical star and wave pattern. Lady Liberty was then fused to the quilted background before adding decorative and functional satin stitching around each piece. Face and hair details are created with fabric art pens. my Handi-Quilter. Quilt edges are bound with blue Island Batik from her dress and machine stitched for durability. The backing is a light, bright white on white star print. Ready to hang with fabric hanging sleeve attached to the back.

Machine wash and dry.
