The vase is realistically rendered in 3D by a labor intensive technique of embroidering over layers and layers of underlying floss. Very few embroiderers are accomplished in this specialized technique.

The silk flowers have a beautiful soft sheen, in daylight and in evening light, and the colors will not fade. There is a beautiful glow and shimmer to the piece.

Zardozi means "gold thread" . It is an elaborate multidimensional embroidery art form using gold and genuine precious and semi precious stones to create an opulent 3D effect.
