Enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee (or grind your own herbs and spices) with this uniquely styled cast metal grinder with handcrafted solid walnut hardwood base. A beautiful kitchen display that is very functional and makes a great wedding, housewarming or realtor closing gift.
While vintage in design, the internal grinding mechanism is all modern non-corrosive ceramic construction for long lasting durability. Ceramic also avoids adding any unwanted external flavoring of the coffee bean or spice while grinding. The grinding mechanism is fully adjustable to refine the grind coarseness to your preference. Simply open the swing door top, drop in your favorite coffee beans or spices, and with a few effortless cranks on the wheel the finished product drops into the convenient all-natural wood collection drawer, ready to enjoy!
The spacious collection drawer (approximately 4” x 3” 1-7/8”) is large enough to provide 70 teaspoons of storage space – plenty for most any coffee or spice application.
Note the detail of the walnut hardwood base and drawer. Keeping with the vintage theme, the base sides is joined with detailed box joint construction (no nails). The drawer face, top and base plate have all be carefully profiled and milled to reflect a vintage appearance and finished with several coats of clear lacquer. NO STAIN OR OIL HAS BEEN USED FOR FOOD SAFETY. By using all solid hardwoods, the natural beauty of the wood is highlighted with several coats of clear lacquer.

You are purchasing a vintage style grinder with walnut hardwood base. It has been individually crafted in my studio. Because I only use woods that are natural in color, each species will vary in grain pattern and color to some degree, resulting in each base being unique. Therefore, the item you receive will be similar, but not exact, in appearance to the photographs shown.

Both Tom and the coffee grinder have exceeded my expectations! After using the grinder for a few days, it became apparent there was one small thing that needed to be fixed.
