Can you combine my orders?

We do not combine orders! We try to ship as quickly as possible, so to keep things running smooth we do everything in order as the orders are made.

What can I expect from raw brass items?

Raw brass is an unplated, unfinished metal. Usually it is a golden brass color, but it can be a brighter yellow, or even lean more copper in color. Since it is unplated and unfinished it can have varying marks, and patina as well. Sometimes stampings will have some oil from manufacturing, if your brass has this, just wash it off with a mild soap and water, and completely dry. All new stock raw brass in my shop is made in the U.S. unless otherwise noted or marked vintage.

A note on plated items marked "Oxidized" or "Antiqued"

Items marked oxidized, or antiqued with plating can vary greatly in finish. Some can have a lot more of the oxidized finish, making it much darker, and some can have a lot less, showing the base plated color more. These are plated in the U.S. in small batches.

A note on vintage items

Items marked vintage are 20+ years old, some of them over 100 years old! All vintage unless noted in my shop is "dead stock" meaning they were created for jewelry making but never used and often still packed in original boxes when I get them. Please note that due to their age, they can show it! Scratches, scuffs, patina, peeling, color changes, etc. may be present on vintage items. Be sure to reference the listings photos (all of them) and read the description fully to understand the condition the item you are looking at may be in.

Orders over $35 (item total) ship free within the U.S. Flat rate shipping costs on MOST items for domestic U.S. orders! One price no matter how much you buy! $6.25 - Domestic U.S. Orders* For International orders- $14.99 + $0.35 each additional item - Canada Orders* $22.00 + $0.45 each additional item -All Other International Orders* OR $22.00 + $0.75 each additional item if heavier -All Other International Orders* *Some heavier items may have different shipping charges and do not apply to above prices. Shipping is done only through USPS or USPS with Etsy's Global Shipping program. Method is selected by seller, usually as ground shipping or first class international.

Delivery Issues and Additional Shipping Info for U.S. Orders

Wrong Address: If you entered the wrong address and your package has already been shipped there is nothing I can do about it. Tracking not updating: Sometimes tracking can take a day or so to update, check back the next day. Sometimes the tracking on Etsy does not update as quickly as on the postal service website, tracking on there may be most up to date. My order is marked delivered but I don't have it: Check with neighbors, mailroom or office management and other household members. If unable to locate past 24 hours of item being delivered contact your local post office that delivers your mail. These steps usually resolve any misplaced package issues.

Delivery Issues For U.S. Orders Continued

I think my package is missing: Most packages arrive within 3-7 business days (this excludes holidays and weekends). If your package has not arrived and tracking has not updated within 7 business days of your order being marked shipped please reach out to me for further assistance. Please note if you have a concern about your package being missing or delayed please do not wait longer than 2 weeks from the date your order is marked shipped to reach out to me. This timeframe gives the best chance of locating it quickly. If you wait past 60 days from the day order is marked shipped USPS will not handle any service inquiries and I won't be able to assist with locating or inquiring about your package.

Shipping & Delivery for International Orders

Most international orders take around 2 weeks to arrive after being marked shipped. At times customs may hold your package because duties or taxes are due. It is the buyers responsibility to pay these fees and inquire with their local delivery services should this happen. At times orders may take longer to arrive due to weather or other issues. Most international orders ship via USPS First Class International, this shows tracking until it leaves the U.S. International tracking may not stay up to date. Please note missing packages are not covered by seller.
