All my hair clips have been treated with water retardant, so they will resist a lot of dirt. If you do get it dirty, sponge it off as soon as possible, pat any excess water away, and let it dry. Some fabrics may then need to be lightly smoothed against an iron – use a pressing cloth and/or a low setting to prevent the fabric scorching or the base twisting. Reapply a water retardant if desired.
