Oversized/Irregular glass:
This is the right place if you want a non-rectangular piece of mirror (round for table topper, ovals, trapezoid for lanterns, rectangle with snipped corner for aquarium/tank/terrarium, holes drilled into piece), just send us a message about your project and dimensions and we'll get you a custom quote. These are the "Custom XY quote" options in the listing, the letters being initials/identifiers for that specific customer. Dimensions should be in the imperial system to the nearest 1/16". Some irregular shapes require a physical template to cut which you can snail mail to us or send as a scale-printable-file (PDF, PPT, other) if you are software-savvy. For trapezoidal pieces we just need to know the measurements for the height and two bases (top and bottom), not the length of the legs.

Project planning:
Glass is both strong and delicate by nature and anyone ordering it should do their due diligence about their particular project/intended purpose. We can give advice/anecdotes but you are responsible for ordering the correct size and thickness for your project. The margin of error for cutting is 1/16" so if there's a maximum size for your project (to fit a frame or cabinet, for example) we recommend you consider taking 1/8" off your measurements to account for cutting variability and thermal expansion. Seamed edges/corners are for safe handling and are recommended for all shelves, toppers, or any application where the glass may be handled regularly. For clean cut pieces corners and edges may be sharp, please use caution when unboxing and handling!
A note on shelving: there are many variables that determine whether a glass shelf will be strong enough for your project including the bracket types, location, number, area, material that brackets are attached to, the storage weight, the location on the shelf of the objects being stored, the location of the objects in relation to the brackets, the hardness and shape of the objects being stored, the energy level of the environment (are there rowdy pets/teens/adults? are things being taken off/added often?), rapid temperature fluctuations, etc. We can give recommendations and anecdotes but you have to choose what size/thickness/bracket type you believe to be best. If you are unsure please contact a local contractor regarding your shelving project.

Shipping:
Almost all orders will ship within a week, smaller pieces take less time to ship. Some large/oversized pieces will take extra time if we have to order a new sheet to cut the order. Oversized/heavy orders may be shipped UPS ground at our discretion. An order with multiple differently sized pieces may ship in multiple packages to ensure best packing (you won't pay extra shipping for that).
Etsy currently only allows one shipping setting per listing, which is difficult for us since some orders are small and weigh less than a pound and some are three feet wide and weigh thirty pounds. The best workaround we have come up with is to set the default package to an average-sized piece and then refund the overages for any smaller/lighter pieces. Note that boxes/bubble wrap/tape/fragile labels/and insurance all get rolled into the shipping cost, then any overage after that is refunded through Etsy. Our pieces rarely break in transit but if that does happen promptly let us know and *safely* take several pictures so we can file a claim and send you a replacement as quickly as possible. Retain the box and packaging as couriers may ask to inspect the package. Any breakage must be reported within a week of delivery for a claim to be filed and a replacement to be sent.

Size restrictions:
Oversized pieces can be expensive to ship, contact for details. Pickup in 15129 is always welcome! The largest pieces we regularly ship are ~21 x 33", but we have shipped pieces as large as ~30 x 45" before, subject to weight restrictions.
