If item arrives damaged

We take full responsibility for any damage caused in transport. Please send pictures of the damaged item within 7 days either via email at contact@glassrelief.co.uk or via etsy conversation, we will come up with a solution that will suit you. We will either send you a return label and try to salvage the item and send it back or we will send you a replacement or we will issue a refund, we are opened to any suggestion.

Once received, we will check the item is in good condition and we will issue a refund (for order delivered outside the UK, we will only issue a refund on the item, not the postage)

Each item is wrapped individually and carefully in foam paper, we then add a logo sticker on the front, certain items (up to 12cm in size) come in free organza bag which you can select on the listing (you can select that option only if it is available as it depends on the size of the item). We use made-to-size strong shipping boxes for our larger items. The void fill we use is biodegradable and the tape is eco-friendly. We take full responsibility for any damage caused in transport. We re-use packaging as much as we can.

Custom and personalised orders

Do not hesitate to contact us shold you wish to discuss a bespoke piece, it could be anything from a new design to a change of colour or size to a piece we already have listed. Once the final design is agreed with a sketch, we will proceed with the order and will send you a picture of the final piece before sending out. At that point, custom orders cannot be returned/refunded.

This extra large glass panel is a soothing and vibrant feature to have in a home with a beautiful wave and coastal scenery and a great composition throughout with the foam coming onto the beach, an island on the side and a lot of perspective to it. It illustrates the waves using low relief and colours to accentuate the motion of the waves to create a dramatic effect. The colours of the sea are blue and turquoise, the sky is fading in blue with birds in the sky. Some parts of the panel are slightly translucent and sandblasted to let the light through when backlit or near a window, there is a sun on the horizon.

This panel was inspired by Old Harry's Rock in Dorset, UK.

The front of the panel is textured and the back is smooth.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.

CONTAINS: 1 XL panoramic wave panel model with a sun on the horizon (85cmx29cm | 33 1/2"x11 1/2" | 5Kgs) with a set of 3 fixings and fitting instructions.

FIXINGS: includes a set of 3 fixings and instructions, the wall panel will be 18mm(3/4") away from the wall, each fixing is a 2 part fixing provided with 2 allen keys, one part to screw into the wall and the second part is to be tighten with an allen key (provided) for the panel to slide in and to be tighten again.
