We understand that when using natural gemstones the cost of jewellery can become rather exorbitant but we largely use created gemstones which look just as lavish as naturally occurring stones but allow the price to be affordable to everyone. WHAT IS SILVER OVERLAY


Silver overlay is a process applying a layer of solid sterling silver to a base metal. It is many times thicker than "Plated". The overlay is then plated with a very thin electro plate of silver. The process of using sterling silver overlay is done by the finest silversmith. It has the great appearance of solid sterling at a reduced cost but will far out last plated products. Sterling overlay is much better and more expensive than plated but not as high a solid sterling silver.

If we do not receive payments immediately we will hold the item only for one working day for your payments and we will be re-listing the item afterwards. RETURN POLICY



We accept returns if your unhappy with the item if its returned within 7 working days of purchase for a full refund excluding postage if the item is returned in its original condition and packaging. If the item is worn or damaged it will effect your refund. We do not accept any piercing items for hygiene purposes. Please read the full description before buying a item. If there is any defects in the item you purchase please contact us immediately. In case of a return the return postage charges has to be paid by the buyer



SHIPPING



We usually ship items within one working day of cleared payments. Shipping time may depend on the country which the items been shipped. All United Kingdom orders will be shipped via Royal Mail sign for service. Please allow few days if you do not receive a item as shipping is beyond our control. All international orders may take longer than eBay estimated time frame and will be shipped via Royal Mail international tracked / sign service. For international multiple purchase we do offer combine shipping. If you are eligible for combine shipping please contact us and we will send you a invoice with discount for payment.



REFUNDS



If there is any problems with the item(s) that you have purchased from us please contact us as soon as possible. We will issue a refund as soon as possible once we receive the item in original condition as we sent it to you. If in any case, the item is not in its original condition (worn/damaged) it will affect your refund. We will not accept any returns of earrings for hygiene purpose except in reasonable circumstances.

At Silver Spectrum our fine jewellery is crafted to last a lifetime, however with normal wear proper care is required to keep it looking good. As a result we've created this Basic Jewellery Care Guide to direct you in the proper care of your jewellery. We hope that you'll find these guidelines helpful.

Remove Jewellery During Tasks – When performing manual tasks, remove your jewellery to prevent physical damage or exposure to chemicals or cleaning fluids. Some tasks that should be avoided when wearing jewellery include kitchen work, gardening, cleaning the house and other common tasks.

· Put Jewellery On After Applying Makeup – Cosmetics, hairspray, perfumes and lotion can contain chemicals that can often damage jewelry. Putting jewelry on after applying these materials will limit exposure to jewellery and any potential damage.

· Don't Wear Jewellery In Swimming Pools and Spas – Chlorinated water can react with the metals found in jewellery causing color changes and even structural damage. As a result it's a good idea to remove jewellery before entering the pool or spa.

· Contact Sports and Jewellery Don't Mix– Hard blows during sports can damage jewellery not to mention the people involved. All jewellery should be removed before play begins.

· Remove Your Jewellery Before Bathing - Remove all jewellery before showering or cleaning. Soap can cause a film to form, making it appear dull and dingy. By preventing the formation of this film you immediately reduce the occasions of servicing.

· Use Jewellery Polishing Cloths for Best Results - Polish silver or gold with a jewellery polishing cloth for best results. You can use a svelte or an old diaper, but the professional cloths are the best. Use of tissue or paper towels can cause scratches because of fibers in these products.

· Clean Your Jewellery With Care - Cleaning your own jewellery regularly can keep it looking good, but be careful. You can either purchase commercial cleaners from a jeweler, but bleach can literally destroy jewelry so avoid it at all costs.

· Use Warm Water to Clean Jewellery - Using warm water is the best bet when cleaning your own jewellery. How water can cause reaction with the cleaning fluids resulting in discoloration and Sterling Silver is especially susceptible to this problem. Should this occur, this problem can be remedied by buffing and the application of a tarnish remover.
