Garden Vegetable Soup Blend

A delicious, comfort soup with a blend of *Barley, carrots, onion, tomatoes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, red & green bell peppers, lovage, marjoram, parsley, thyme, garlic & bay leaf. All you have to do is add some butter, stock, or bouillon, and water! It’s that easy. Makes four delicious servings Net weight 5.0 oz. (142g)

Garden Vegetable Soup Blend

1 Package Souper Spices-Garden Vegetable Soup Blend
1 TB butter, margarine or olive oil
6 Cups boiling water, vegetable, chicken, or beef broth
Salt & pepper

Slow Cooker: Preheat the slow cooker on high. Add stock and the entire contents of the soup package. Add butter or oil for a richer flavor. Cover and cook on high 4-6 hours and 6-8 hours on low—salt and pepper to taste.

Try adding cooked chicken, beef, or shrimp!

Stove top directions: Add the entire package of soup blend to 4 cups of liquid. Add butter or oil for a richer flavor. Bring to a boil and simmer for at least 30 minutes or more to ensure the vegetables rehydrate. Salt and pepper. Try adding cooked chicken, beef, or shrimp!

Stovetop: Add all ingredients, cover, boil, and simmer until done (30-60 minutes).
