Bug Light Lighthouse Watercolor Art Print, South Portland Maine Coastal Decor

"Bug Light" is a beautifully detailed painting of one of the lighthouses in South Portland, Maine. This is from my original watercolor painting.

The lighthouse's official name is Portland Breakwater Light, but most locals affectionately call this little beauty "Bug Light" because of its size. It actually has curly eyelashes, if you look closely! Very cute. This is a favorite destination for engagement photos and weddings in the summertime.

This sweet lighthouse is located at the end of the Greenbelt Walkway in South Portland, Maine, in Bug Light Park. It's such a pretty spot. There are benches and lots of grass to relax and watch the many boats going back and forth. If you look to the left, just out of frame in my painting, you can see the Portland cityscape with its bustling waterfront. If you look straight out, you can see Fort Gorges off in the distance.

This sunny lighthouse print would make a wonderful gift for someone who loves South Portland.

I use archival pigment inks for superior color accuracy and longevity - they will last a lifetime when properly cared for. A signed/dated certificate of authenticity is included for each print.
