The photo shown is white paint with a semi-gloss finish. You can have your item painted, stained, or varnished.
The lid and sides are handmade out of baltic birch wood The legs are made of 2x2 select pine.
Chest/Box is made from premium, 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood that is purchased from California. The lid is 3/4" Baltic Birch.
All Baltic Birch plywood is CARB 2 compliant, meaning that no added formaldehyde is present, and it is harvested from sustainable forests.
There is an air vent cut in front.
The wood is joined together with pocket screws which is a woodworking joinery technique that provides more of a solid grip than a nail. Pocket holes are very well hidden on the underneath or back side of a project.
This chest will be handmade to order. Because these pieces are custom made it may take 4-6 weeks Special processing time can be considered, just let me know.
It can be used as a toy chest, a blanket chest placed at the foot of your bed, storage chest placed in your living area using the top as a table.
This is a modern storage piece designed to look good in any room of the house. This piece is timeless, it will last you a lifetime.
All of our chests feature a slow-close hinge so tiny fingers do not get slammed or caught between the chest and the lid.
