Most of my jewelry is created with copper. Copper will tarnish over time. To remove any tarnish you can either use a jewelry polishing pad or steel wool from any hardware store. Just rub the whole surface of the piece to get the shine back. Diluted lemon juice will also brighten the piece. Store the jewelry in plastic bag when not using. Wash the jewelry with shampoo to achieve instant brightness. If you try to bend it or jewelry gets squished then it will bend. Do not place your wire wrapped jewelry in a purse or pocket.

Rudraksha is a powerful natural bead from India. It is used for Protection and chanting religious mantras. Respect this seed. Remove Rudraksha jewelry while taking bath. Regularly apply some oil to strengthen Rudraksha. I Mainly use 5 Mukhi Rudraksha. But if you have any particular alignment then contact me for other specific Rudraksha.

This is an intermediate level tutorial. You should have basic knowledge of Wire weaving and should be able to hand form curves!! The size of final pendant created in this tutorial is
3” Height x 1 ¼” Width

Materials:
Wires:
1. 20ga (gauge) solid round dead soft copper wire
2. 28ga (gauge) solid round dead soft copper wire

Cabochon stone :
Teardrop shape cabochon with flat back: 25 mm Width x 38 mm Height

Copper beads:
2.5mm bead : 1 bead
Tools :
1. Flat nose pliers
2. Flush cutters for cutting the wire
3. 5mm Dowel / bail making pliers
4. File (to smooth out all cut ends of wire)
5. Jewelry Polishing pad or Nylon jaw pliers to straighten the wires
6. Marker pen
7. Ruler to measure

For final finishing:
You can leave the copper pendant as it is looking shiny or with natural tarnish. But I prefer to polish my pieces to high gloss, to do that you will need following
1. Liver of sulfur or any copper antiquing solution
2. Steel wool
3. Flexible shaft rotary tool with Cotton buff wheel
4. Polishing compound of your choice
