‘Fancy tulips and marmalade’ is an original 11 colour screen print, hand printed in Yorkshire using quality acrylic, printing paper and elbow grease.

I was inspired by the graphics on the old pot Dundee marmalade jar we have in our kitchen.
I love the nostalgia it conjures up of old fashioned breakfasts of ‘door stop’ toast with butter and marmalade. We use our little pot as a vase for flowers which today holds some fancy tulips I rescued from the reduced bucket at our local supermarket.

I hand squeegied each print and carefully make sure each one has a tiny imperfection so it is unique, so every piece is an original hand made print.
