This custom enamel door sign is carefully handcrafted using genuine porcelain enamel and old-fashioned stenciling techniques. We prepare the artwork in our studio and present it to you before stenciling and firing in our ceramic furnace. Our designs are revivals of historical signs of northern Europe, with authentic trims and typefaces.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
This plaque measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" (14 x 9 cm) and holds up 1 line of 11 characters. You can choose from a number of color and trim options (see the pictures above), and even submit your own design, trims, or fonts. The shape is beautifully arched into a domed shape, giving it dimension, and each character is carefully stenciled by hand. The sign is made from low carbon steel coated with porcelain enamel which fuses onto the steel at 1470ºF (800ºC) in the kiln. This makes it extremely hardy and resistant to the sun, water, and corrosive atmospheres. Your sign is delivered with solid brass screws, ready to mount.
