Islamic calendar year 1299 is the year 1882. This gorgeous little 16mm coin was struck in Paris for the Moroccan Empire in the common year of 1882. The Rial was the currency of Morocco at the time this coin was struck.

The writing on the coin indicates that this coin was struck in Paris and that it is of the realm of Hassan.


The size and diameter of the coin pendant can be seen compared to a pictured 18 mm Roosevelt dime. The Moroccan dirham was struck in high grade 900 silver.


The chain is Sterling Silver made in Italy and has an approximate 1mm diameter.
