size A3 11.5x17"- parchment paper- acrylic colors and pearls- text printed according to the rabbi's prescriptions. harmony of brown and blue.

how do you create a Ketubah? how long ? can you customize?

A Ketubah is a religious marriage contract. It specifies the location, date, names of signatories and their witnesses, which commits them, and finally it anticipates in the event of breach of contract.
All that is not very poetic, this is a text of law that only the Rabbi can provide or confirm. A small error would cancel a contract, it requires a lot of rigor.

The translation leaves much more freedom and allows a more personal expression and poetic.

So we have to exchange a few emails to be sure and that part of the text can be time consuming. I take no responsibility that is the function of a rabbi, I am an artist only .....

The text is then printed on the highest quality parchment paper . For the record, this paper is manufactured by a French artist who also provides the Elysee .....

I work with a Sofer/scribbe who asks about a week to write the text in Hebrew by hand. Obviously it comes in supplement .

You choose the theme, the colors, the style, the various additions, taking inspiration from models already created that I propose to shop. It can be different too. The model we develop together, your Ketubah, is unique, it is created for you and depending on you. This part of the work takes about a week.
I send you pictures of the different stages . I make the changes according to your comments ...

I send it by the israelian postoffice and give you the tracking number. it may take two to three weeks in the regular way, 3 days in high-speed mail ( + 20$) ....
I ask you 50% when you order and 50% at the end.

I have a tip: No wait! A customized ketubah takes between a month and 2 monthes.
