Original & Scarce Medal Of The Great War

Serbian War Merit Medal.

1914 -1918 War

An attractive full size bronze medal measuring 40mm in diameter, (approx 1.5 inches) and a desirable, very fine condition.

It is complete with correct original silky tri-fold ribbon. The ribbon has light wear and fading commensurate with age but, overall, it is in a good presentable condition.

The medal was not only awarded to certain Serbian soldiers who took part in the First World War. It was also officially issued to French allied troops who fought alongside Serbian soldiers in the Balkans during WWI.

An interesting medal and certainly in nice original condition.
